Double Dealing remains in training for 2022

Double Dealing remains in training for 2022

Never out of the frame in eight career runs, three-time winner Double Dealing will be back in training in December. He should be ready to race again in February or March. We know he runs well on the all-weather but Richard is adamant that ‘he’s not just an all-weather horse’. We are looking forward to seeing him run in 2022. We believe he’s a well-handicapped horse that can progress through the handicap and give us another winning season.

Some new exciting and prospects will be running for us in 2022.

Details below

'He is a good walking colt and great value for money' - RF

Richard and Robin picked-out this well-made, good-walking, bay colt at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster. At a purchase price of £20,000, he was fantastic value. He is from the first crop of Unfortunately, the winner of the Group 1 Prix Morny, France's Premier Two-Year-Old Race. In 2017, he won it in the second fastest time recorded in the last 50 years. The dam, Broughton's Jewel is an un-raced daughter of the Group 1 Miler, Bahri; she has produced three winners from four runners.

ROCK OPERA on debut at Beverley in May 2022

Rock Opera ran with credit on debut to finish 4th in a 5 furlong contest at Beverley.

ROCK OPERA wins second time out in late May.

A great ride by jockey Paul Hanagan, who brought Rock Opera into the race steadily after experiencing some trouble at the start. He picked up the leaders with a furlong to go and then moved on nicely to win  by a length at the finish.

NEW FOR 2022 - a COLT by CAMACHO out of a DOYEN mare.
